Mostra e conferenza-concerto: “La voce delle chitarre dell’Ottocento”

Un appuntamento imperdibile che unisce il fascino della storia musicale alla rara possibilità di ascoltare strumenti originali d’epoca. La giornata è articolata in due momenti:
Mostra di chitarre storiche originali: circa dodici strumenti straordinari, realizzati dai più grandi liutai della prima metà dell’Ottocento, saranno esposti per l’intera giornata. Una collezione unica che documenta l’evoluzione della chitarra in Europa in un periodo cruciale della sua storia.
Conferenza-concerto: un incontro speciale in cui Stefano Magliaro, chitarrista e studioso, accompagnerà il pubblico in un viaggio tra suoni e contesti storici. Verranno presentati gli strumenti, analizzate le loro caratteristiche costruttive e sonore, e suonati brani coevi pensati proprio per quegli specifici modelli. Sarà così possibile cogliere l’intimo legame tra liuteria, composizione e interpretazione.

Questo evento dal forte valore culturale rappresenta un’occasione rara per ascoltare la musica dell’Ottocento eseguita con le chitarre per cui fu scritta, restituendole la sua voce autentica. Saranno presenti strumenti di liutai leggendari come Lyra Blaise, Lacote, Fabricatore, Guadagnini, Benedid, Panormo, De Santis, Rudloff, Ballarini. Una vera immersione nella storia della chitarra tra stile francese, italiano, spagnolo e tedesco, in un momento in cui la musica europea era ancora fortemente caratterizzata dalle sue radici geografiche e culturali.  Una proposta che affascinerà musicisti, studiosi, appassionati e curiosi: la musica come non l’avete mai sentita prima.

Exhibition and Lecture-Concert: “The Voice of 19th-Century Guitars”

An unmissable event that combines the charm of musical history with the rare opportunity to hear original period instruments. The day is structured in two parts: 
Exhibition of original historical guitars: around twelve extraordinary instruments, built by some of the greatest luthiers of the first half of the 19th century, will be on display throughout the day. A unique collection that documents the evolution of the guitar in Europe during a crucial period in its history. 
Lecture-concert: a special encounter in which Stefano Magliaro, guitarist and scholar, will guide the audience on a journey through sounds and historical contexts. The instruments will be presented, their structural and acoustic characteristics analyzed, and period pieces composed specifically for those models will be performed. This will allow the audience to grasp the deep connection between lutherie, composition, and interpretation.

This culturally significant event offers a rare opportunity to hear 19th-century music performed on the very guitars for which it was written, restoring their authentic voice. Instruments by legendary luthiers such as Lyra Blaise, Lacote, Fabricatore, Guadagnini, Benedid, Panormo, De Santis, Rudloff, and Ballarini will be featured.
